5. Be Humane To Your Dog

Best friends!

Treat
Your Dog
with
Kindness.

Your house or the dog's house should be clean. There should be no flies or bad odors for long periods of time.

Because it is your own house, be especially proud of your dog's area
by making an extra effort to keep it clean. When friends come over, you can run and play with your dog without having to worry about where you 'step'!

It is against the law to treat an animal in a cruel or inhumane way. Neglecting your dog or causing him pain or suffering are against the law.
A boy feeding his dog.
Dogs will quickly become sick, tired, lonely, and sad without warm, loving, human attention.

Booknote

Abandoning a dog or cat is a violation of the law.

Our dogs are dependent on us for food, water, shelter, care, and love. They will not survive on their own.

Best buddies!
